Classmates blog!

Dr. Danny's Blog

Danny makes a good summary of Henry Thoreau's Essay: Where I Lived, and What I Lived For. His point of seeing something relating to news on a social media website simply being ignored or disregarded rings true in many cases. He says, "This brings us to the thought that when you read these types of articles, you think that this won't happen to you while in reality, anything can happen." I totally agree with this, and it relates to Thoreau's statement right at the beginning of the article, where he says he could not discover that he had not truly lived life at the end of his life. We need to, or at least try to, live life deliberately.
